What features do condo dwellers want? That is a question every builder should be asking, but it might also be a question condo dwellers are asking themselves. If you are going to live in a condo in Toronto, what features do you want (or need) to make it a desirable home? Avid Ratings Canada conducted a survey* about condo dweller preferences when it came to what they wanted in their next home, and the results may surprise you.
The condo market is hot! Bidding wars over rentals will always blow my mind, but it just goes to show you how badly people want to live in Toronto. I have first hand experience with this. I love living here, it's hard work but it's worth it.
"What makes Toronto's condos an attractive long-term bet is the city's low vacancy rate, which has fueled bidding wars among renters and driven monthly condo rents to an average of $2,074 in the second quarter, up 7.2 per cent from $1,935 a year ago, according to market research firm Urbanation."
I had to make sure I found the best spot for my awesome client; he wanted this view and he got it! Such a stunning look at the city from a wrap-around balcony.
Added bonus, got it for less than the asking price! Clients are always surprised to know you can negotiate with rentals, but that's what I'm here for :)
If you're looking for a spot like this, or any other, get in touch and we can make it happen.
Congrats to my clients on the sale of their home. We set a new record for the street with the highest selling price at the time! This gorgeous raised bungalow was easy to show off, as you can see, it has it all...
